Rained Out

OMG, what a morning!  Here’s how it went….
7:15am  Woke up with a jolt.  I’m late!  Gotta go!
7:30am  Started driving.  I had a photoshoot at 9am in the South Bay.  I left my house early in case I ran into weekday traffic.  Plus, I like arriving to new locations early, so I could explore it and [...]

Keller Turns One

Happy 1st Birthday, Keller!
Keller came prepared for his first photoshoot:  He slept an extra 2 hours (even 1 year old dudes need their beauty rest, ya know!), he started walking 2 days earlier, and he smiled whenever he saw me and my camera!
One of my favorite attributes of this gorgeous little man is his fuzzy, [...]

Zachary

At 10.5 months old, Zach is toddling around already, giving his parents more reasons to smile and also keeping them on their toes!
He is also one of the happiest babies I’ve met!  Smiling all the time…

I love how, at this age, babies are fascinated at the smallest of wonders…

Looking at Zach’s face in [...]

Modern Holiday Cards!!

I am sooo excited about these holiday cards!  They are one-of-a-kind creations (by moi) on 4×8 photographic paper.  I made them just the way I like ‘em:  simple, clean and modern.  No cartoons of Santa or Rudolph (though I think they’re both cute).
I included both vertical and horizontal samples, so you can see [...]

Storyboard 10×20 Examples

I’ve had a few clients who recently asked for some storyboard examples.  So here they are!
Storyboards (also called a 10×20 collage) make great gifts.  Every storyboard is custom-created for you!  You choose the photos you’d like displayed — either 3 vertical photos, 2 vertical and 1 horizontal, or 3 vertical and 1 horizontal.
These storyboards are [...]

Elaine, Anthony and Ian Hanging Out

Most of my clients want their photos to be natural and unposed, which is great because that’s what I specialize in.  Editorial, natural images that reflect the children’s true personalities.
If children are smiling, it’s because they’re happy and having fun, not because we told them to smile.
Before the photoshoot, Elaine told me she [...]

Who hates the camera?

Ian C. is 4 1/2 yrs old.  He’s well beyond his babyhood, but not quite a big boy yet.  Still cute and cuddly, but old enough to know what he wants and has a distinct personality!  It was fun to take photos of him.
Before the photoshoot, his mommy warned me that Ian didn’t like the [...]
