Commercial Photography: Starfield Bay
July 12th, 2009

Today’s photoshoot was of the partners of Starfield Bay, a company that makes beautiful sterling silver jewelry that is uniquely yours — using fingerprints and artwork from your loved ones.

Here are a few casual headshots of Katherine, Rica and Yvette.

Childhood Friends

These women were so much fun to shoot.  I could tell they’ve known each other since childhood by the way they felt comfortable enough to let their silly side shine.  We found ourselves laughing throughout the photoshoot!

Fingerprint Jewelry

We weren’t planning on doing product photography today; these necklaces came right off Katherine, Rica and Yvette’s necks!

I wanted to show them what my vision was for their products.  I see their handcrafted jewelry as natural and organic, which is why I chose this park for their headshots.  These are a few of my favorite product shots.

The large circle pendant has THEIR fingerprints on it — one from each partner!  It’s really cute.  I can’t wait to get my necklaces with my monkeys’ fingerprints!

For clients:  Look out for future promotions because I’m thinking of doing something special with this company.

I love these shots! And what a cool product–I was just looking at imprinted necklaces this morning (with a fingerprint–honest!)–how’s that for connection?!

You are so much fun to just pal around with. These photos were what we had in mind. Thanks so much for the amazing experience. We can’t wait to see more.
