Our Trip to Massachusetts – Part 3:  Lexington

LEXINGTON CENTER

Below Left: “We’re not in San Francisco anymore!”  Wow, were we happily surprised to see that one quarter buys you a full hour at the meter!  In many SF lots, we pay $4 per 20 minutes!

Below Right: I passed by the Minuteman statue every day for the 9 years I lived in Lexington, and this was the first photo I had taken of it!  Does that officially make me a tourist?

MY FAMILY’S RESTAURANT

If you are ever visiting MA, go to Yangtze River Restaurant in Littleton or Lexington.  (Lexington is the original location.)

We went here for weekend brunch, which consisted of dim sum brought to tables on trays and also a very extensive buffet that had lunch foods as well as traditional Chinese brunch food.  And the Chinese pastries were so good that I had an entire plate of just that!  Everything was sooooooo yummy!

I should’ve taken photos of the food to show you all, but I was too busy eating!

THE COLORS OF LEXINGTON

Lawrence (my hubs) would laugh when he’d see me take yet another photo of leaves.  I guess I did go a little foliage-photography-crazy!  It is from living in the Bay Area for so long and being deprived of the gorgeous New England Autumn colors!

To my wonderment, a single leaf could have four colors!  And this was everywhere.

I felt like a sponge for the visual beauty in Lexington.  Just soaked up every ounce of color with my eyes and camera lens!

BOSTON

We went to Quincy Market one day to explore and eat eat eat.

Here are a couple perspectives of Boston you may not have ever seen before!  :)
